Krenn et al. (2006) — Histopathological grading of synovitis

Score 0–1: no histological synovitis; 2–4: low-grade; 5–9: high-grade. The score grades inflammation but does not establish its cause (e.g. rheumatoid, infectious or reactive). Correlate with clinical, microbiological and other histological findings. Educational decision support; do not enter patient identifiers.
